Annabel, Henry and Emily

Enjoying some family time in the fields near their home

On Wednesday 25th August I travelled to Upper Dunsforth for an action packed shoot with 3 lively children, 1 lively dog, 2 parents & 4 chickens.

Tamara & Ian have a gorgeous family, their children: Annabel, Henry and Emily were a pleasure to photograph.  As soon as I arrived and met the children, I knew we were in for a fun shoot … their cheeky smiles said it all!

After discussing ideas with Tamara & Ian, we decided to capture most of the images outside. The children love being outdoors, playing together, and I think we managed to capture some images that really sum up what the family are like. They live in a beautiful home surrounded with a fantastic huge garden, which made a great setting for the shoot. Maisy the dog was also an important part of day, and she managed to get her lovely furry self in most of the family photographs!

“I just want to say a huge thank you to Tamara for organizing such a great day, and for the yummy home made cake – It was greatly appreciated. (& needed!)  Thank you also to the children and Ian for being great fun, and for making me laugh so much! I hope you all like this little glimpse in to some of the finished results from the shoot. See you soon for the big reveal of the rest. Gemma ”

Superb blog! The first glimpses have really whetted our appetite for when we next meet up. It was a great day of activity – relaxed, informal and fun. Thank you for everything; you made it seem so easy.
